Dogs are such happy and friendly animals. They love to play and spend time with their families. Sometimes, though, they can get a little upset if they feel they’re not getting enough attention.
In our story, we have a happy dog named Kobe. Kobe is a Labrador, a type of dog that is known for being very friendly. Kobe lived with his dad, Jeremy, and they had a great time together. Kobe loved Jeremy very much and always wanted to be near him.
Jeremy said, “Kobe follows me everywhere. It’s like he’s my shadow. He really loves being with me all the time.”
Kobe and Jeremy would play together, go for walks, and even nap together. Kobe couldn’t imagine his life being any different. But one day, something new happened.
Jeremy brought someone new home. It was his girlfriend, Ella. Kobe was surprised to see another person getting close to Jeremy. He thought, “Who is this? Why is she here with us?”
At first, Kobe was a bit unsure about Ella. He didn’t understand why she was there. Jeremy noticed Kobe feeling this way and said, “Kobe is not used to sharing me with others. He looks a bit jealous when I spend time with Ella.”
Kobe kept thinking, “Why is this lady here? Why is she getting so much attention from Jeremy?”
Kobe tried to tell Ella that he was unsure about her by making some noises and not letting her come too close. But after a little while, Kobe thought, “Maybe I should see if she’s nice.”
So, Kobe went up to Ella and let her pet him. Ella was very gentle and even gave Kobe some lovely belly rubs. Kobe started to think, “Hmm, maybe she’s not so bad after all.”
Soon, Kobe started to like Ella. He still wanted to be close to Jeremy when he and Ella were sitting together, but Kobe found a way to join in. He would just hop up and make some room for himself right between them.
Jeremy was happy to see Kobe getting along with Ella.
He said, “After a few weeks, Kobe became calm and was happy to have Ella around. He realized she’s part of our family now.”
Ella and Kobe became good friends. Ella would play with Kobe, and Kobe enjoyed the new games they played together. It was like Ella had always been part of their family.
The biggest surprise came when Jeremy and Ella brought home another dog, a Doberman named Moki. Kobe was a bit confused at first because he had never had a dog sibling before. But Kobe and Moki quickly became the best of friends.
Now, Kobe wasn’t just Jeremy’s dog. He had a whole family to love him. He had Jeremy, Ella, and his new sister, Moki. They all lived happily together, playing, going on adventures, and enjoying each other’s company.
Kobe, who once felt a bit left out, now had more love and fun in his life than he ever imagined. And they all became one big, happy family.
