Rescuers Saved This Unhappy Dog Who Was Being Used for Making Money

In a heartfelt rescue story, Ducky, a foster dog in Central Florida, finds a new beginning. Ducky was initially purchased by a family with intentions of breeding her for profit. Unfortunately, Ducky faced several medical issues, including a skin infection and a painful eye condition where her eyelids turned inward, causing severe irritation. Unwilling to deal with her medical needs, her first family abandoned her. She was then taken in by a loving foster family through Little Rascals Dog Rescue.

Colin and his wife, the foster parents, welcomed Ducky with open arms. Upon arrival, Ducky underwent surgery to address her medical conditions and quickly settled into her new home. She formed an instant bond with Colin, sensing his protective and caring nature. Ducky also became great friends with the couple’s other dogs, Mako and Kona, although Kona occasionally displayed jealousy over the attention Ducky received.

Ducky is described as incredibly playful and affectionate, always eager to sit on laps and be cuddled. After spending about two and a half months with her foster family, a perfect forever home was found for her. Ducky’s new home promised a loving environment with a caring owner and a new canine best friend. The foster family felt a mix of joy for Ducky’s new beginning and sadness at her departure. They hoped Ducky would understand she wasn’t being abandoned again, a common fear among foster families.
